Weekend in Review

Hi folks,

I packed my stuff Thursday night for Koblenz and left that afternoon after lunch. I met a guy on the train named Keith, from Chicago. We talked the whole way to Koblenz! It was cool, something you think would never happen to you. Got to Koblenz around 5:30 and we checked out the University. I didn't take many pictures of it because its not that impressive. But it is small and cozy. Hope you all enjoy the albums...

Münster Part II
Koblenz I
Koblenz II

Saturday we checked out the city. Nikki got a flight on the same plane I am on, but we can't sit next to each other since I have a business class ticket. That's ok though, since we will get to figure stuff out together.

I really look fat in all the pictures of me on Facebook. Am I really that fat? Crap! I wonder if it has to do with the fact that I always have a backpack on and I am slumped over or something. But still, I look fat and it makes me angry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I printed out my ticket today... hoping that the Deutsche Bahn doesn't decide to strike on Friday afternoon... I kept forgetting to tell Mom about that, but now that I said something about it she can have a cow, ha ha ha... the train drivers are all in a union and they are threatening to strike unless they get a 30% raise in salary... crazy!! So far they've been unsuccessful, and I read in the newspaper that they are getting serious with the threats, but also said they would give 24 hours notice before they actually strike. CRAZY. Just PLEEEASE let me get to Duesseldorf before they strike, ha ha ha... that is really all I need.

I am giving a lecture on Thursday about tourism in Orlando, ha ha... I am sure that will be super interesting and informative. I am the only person from the USA in my class so maybe it will be interesting...?

Well I don't really have much else to say, I have a bad habit of forgetting what it is I wanted to write... I am kind of distracted right now cuz there are a ton of people in here too, so maybe later this week I can update...

Cheers,
Caitlin
